1993年千葉県生まれ。
尚美ミュージックカレッジ専門学校管弦打楽器学科卒業。吹奏楽を佐藤正人、打楽器を日比一宏、和声を吉田真梨の各氏に師事。
中学校から現在に至るまで吹奏楽で打楽器を続ける。
第29回朝日作曲賞受賞
第22回第23回21世紀吹奏楽”響宴”入選。
主な作品：2019年度吹奏楽コンクール課題曲「あんたがたどこさ」の主題による幻想曲（第29回朝日作曲賞受賞作品）、吹奏楽『NOVA―宇宙(そら)への変革―』、『赤い森〜1986.4.26 チェルノブイリ原子力発電所事故による〜』、『パンドラ〜管楽合奏のための〜』、『氷晶の時計台〜時空（とき）を超えて〜』、『海のトライアングル』、アンサンブル作品では、木管８重奏『ミスト〜８人のソロ奏者のための〜』、『わだつみの暗翳』、『赤い森〜1986.4.26.チェルノブイリ原子力発電所事故による〜』、木管３重奏『火罪〜ジャンヌ・ダルクの終焉〜』など、中高はじめ各種団体から委嘱作品を受けアンサンブルコンテストでは金賞受賞や支部代表に導く。
現在は、マエストロ楽譜出版にて作曲家 林大地氏のオリジナル作品を数多く出版。
Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1993.
Graduated from the Department of Orchestral and Percussion Instruments at Shobi Music College.
Studied wind band performance under Masato Sato, percussion under Kazuhiro Hibi, and harmony under Mari Yoshida.
Has continued playing percussion in wind bands from junior high school to the present.
Winner of the 29th Asahi Composition Award.
Selected for the 22nd and 23rd “21st Century Wind Music Kyoen” concerts.

Has received numerous commissions from junior high schools, high schools, and various ensembles, leading groups to gold medals and regional representation in ensemble contests.
Currently publishes many original works by composer Daichi Hayashi through Maestro Music Publishing.

歪んだ状況にあるこの現代社会に警鐘を鳴らし続けているのは紛れもない事実である。
我々は彼の作品に触発され、あるべき姿の示唆を受けるであろうことは想像に難くない。
世界平和や人々の争い、大災害といった現代社会が抱える諸問題に対し、「考えることの大切さ」「感じ続けることの意味」を、音楽を通して静かにあるいは激しく強く問いかけている。
演奏の瞬間だけで完結するのではなく、演奏後も、そして何年経っても心に残り続ける“課題”として、聴く人・演奏する人それぞれの中に問いを投げかける。 そのような深い想いが、作品の随所に込められている。（マエストロ楽譜出版）
A grief that cries out, a shocking passion, and the rhythm of the soul?his works seize the hearts of performers and listeners alike, gripping them and never letting go.
Where does this energy arise from?
It is grounded in his unmistakably clear worldview.
It may stem from an inner despair and anxiety reminiscent of Munch’s The Scream, or perhaps from a faint glimmer of hope.
What is certain is that he continues to sound an alarm toward the distorted conditions of our modern society.
It is not difficult to imagine that we, too, are inspired by his works and receive hints of what our world ought to be.
Through music, he quietly?and at times fiercely?asks us to reflect on the importance of thinking and the meaning of continuing to feel, in the face of the many issues confronting today’s world: global peace, human conflict, natural disasters, and more.
His works do not end with the moment of performance; they remain in the heart long after, even for years, as “questions” posed to each listener and performer.
Such profound intentions are woven throughout every part of his compositions.
